How do you get your lil kinz to for your normal sized webkinz on webkinz?

December 14, 2009 - 1:42 pm 4 Comments

Okay, I purchased a Lil Kinz and I have seen other Lil Kinz following other webkinz and I don’t know how to make my Lil Kinz follow one of my other webkinz.

Help??

are you sure you mean a lil’ kinz? Like a small cat, dog, horse, etc. The lil’ kinz are controlled individually, just like the regular kinz. If you were in the clubhouse and saw a lil’ dog following a regular sized dog, they were being controlled by 2 different people.
If you mean the zum buddies, those butterfly looking flying creatures, the option to add or change which zum follows which pet is the icon that looks like a yellow bear happy face. It should be right next to the icon to change clothes. I don’t actually have a zum, so I can’t give you more details than that.

Do you buy gifts for absolutely everyone in your family?

December 9, 2009 - 10:06 am 5 Comments

I have to buy gifts for all the kids (4) in my husband’s family and also his parents, as well as the 2 kids in my family, my sister and her husband, and my parents. Of course I also by gifts for my immediate family– husband and daughter. That is a lot of gifts, and our families continue to grow. I’d like to do a gift exchange next year, or just buy gifts for the kids. Something along those lines. How do you handle gift-giving during the holidays in your family?

if i bought presants for every single person in my family i would be completely broke.

there are nine people in my immediate family, including my brothers wives and my fiance.

if i start tallying up cousins and aunts and uncles im up to 60 people in no time flat, JUST on my mothers side

i buy for immediate family only, and my brothers and their wives get gifts as a couple not as individuals.

What are good mini christmas gifts to give my boyfriend?

December 4, 2009 - 1:46 pm 5 Comments

I am buying him 2 video games he really wants for his PS3 for christmas, but i decided it would be nice for me to put those on the bottom of a gift bag and fill the rest of the bag with smaller non-expensive gifts. Any ideas? (or if you have an even better way of packaging his gifts, that would be very helpful also!) Thanks :)
what about a very unique gift of engraving a sweet message on a grain of rice like i love you or both of your names on both sides of the rice grain. here i have come across this link http://etanro.com which doesn’t only does this piece of art on a grain of rice but also embeds it in a good luck pendant which could be either made in to a any jewelery or accessory(mobile, i pod etc) make according to your choice. you can customize a whole gift within few seconds and steps with great deals and season discounts.

How do you make plush/stuffed toys?

December 2, 2009 - 6:37 am 2 Comments

i’m interested in making my own plush toys from scratch, but not sure how to start. i think i have all the necessary materials and i want to get started soon. i’m planning on making some to give as gifts this holiday season. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

thanks for answering! =)

You will need a pattern, go to the fabric store and look through the books. Get the pattern, and read the back for suggestions on choices of kinds of materials you should use, what to stuff it with, what else to buy.
All you do is cut out the animal, iron the seams and the pieces, and sew it together, right sides together except when told by the pattern to do otherwise. Leave a couple inches of seam open [choose a long seam and be sure and knot off each side so you can't rip it] to stuff the animal with fiberfill. Turn the animal right side out, and Hand stitch the open seam closed, and you are done.
Be sure and do any embellishments to the animal before you fill it, like embroidering faces, adding buttons. the pattern will tell you when and how.
Their are many choices of material, acrylic plush, chenille, cotton or poly cotton with Xmas designs on it. Adults might like some gold or silver lame. Velvet is hard to work with, but would be pretty.
You can choose to make your animal look real, or fanciful.
The material should be something that does not wrinkle or crush easily, and should not be see-through the fiberfill and seams would show.
And don’t forget you can dress the animal too, in a theme that would please the potential owner. and the animal could be part of the theme. The person loves to cook? Dress a cute piggy or a chicken animal in a chef’s apron and toque. .

What is a good organization where I can send Christmas gifts to the less fortunate?

December 2, 2009 - 6:37 am 3 Comments

So members in my club & I want to do something positive for the less fortunate this Holiday by giving Christmas gifts. Since my club is the Multi-cultural Student Union, we voted that we would like to send our gifts to differing countries (anywhere outside of the U.S). The problem is finding a good organization that is dependable and legit that was help direct our gifts to where we want them to go. Any ideas?
