Toyota has acted swiftly to reduce the damage caused by the safety concerns which have occurred over the last few months. Toyota has also put the number of UK accelerator repairs that have been completed on their website. At the time of writing Toyota had repaired over 138,000 Used Toyota vehicles since it started back in January. This is a great achievement for Toyota as it is a major operation to recall over 8 million cars worldwide. The president of Toyota gave an apology in the US for concentrating too much on profit rather than safety. Toyota might just have been able to pull themselves out of this mess.
