Playing With UBot
My friend Craig was showing me this amazing piece of software called UBot. Basically UBot is a development platform for creating automated web bots. Basically, any operation you can perform in a web browser, you can do in UBot. So if you want to create a screen scraping tool, or some sort of automated form filling tool, you can do all that with UBot. It has a really easy to use programming interface which is all based on dragging and dropping commands and linking everything together. I don’t know how to program myself, but my friend Craig was able to navigate around really easily. He showed me the very latest version of UBot which is version 3.3. It’s in beta, but I guess he somehow got on the beta list. Anyway, UBot looks like a really exciting product, and I’m anxious to try it myself.
