Cons to the Stillman Diet

Before getting started with the Stillman diet it is important that you are made aware of some of the challenges associated with it. Below are a few.

Very restrictive food list. Almost no dairy except for three choices, no fruit of any kind, no vegetables of any kind and nothing with fats or carbohydrates.

Very restrictive way to prepare foods as you can not use any oils, butter, margarine or grease when cooking.

Extremely high protein diets can be very unhealthy for the heart and other organs.

Calcium levels are negatively effected on the Stillman diet.

Lack of fats and carbohydrates can send the body into ketosis.
