How to make plush dolls smell good?

August 24, 2009 - 11:09 am

Hi,
I create my own plushies and I would like to make them smell good and have a fragrant. Do you know a way I could make my plushies smell good such as inserting something inside the plush or any other methods ? Thanks

There are various non-toxic fragrance beads that can be purchased online or in craft stores that would provide a long-lasting scent if pillowed within the stuffing of your pluahies. I would sew the beads into small muslin bags so that single beads did not work their way up to the surface material with cuddling.
Fragrance sheets are another option, but beads would provide the longer-lasting scent.

Place the doll and a fabric softener sheet in a plastic bag for 1 week. Tie it up good and tight.

This works. The more sheets you add the stronger the scent.

Spray perfume or body spray on them. Or you could febreeze them.
