Where can I donate stuffed animals?

November 3, 2009 - 12:29 pm

I have a lot of used stuffed animals. They are still in good condition. Where can I donate them to a good home for needy children. I live in Indianapolis so that is where I need a place to donate them to.

Goodwill

    You taxidermists are really twisted.

Seriously, try a battered women’s shelter for the women who have kids.

you could always donate them to a school for a yardsale or a day care. Second hand stores would love them.

You can donate to a local thrift store such as the Salvation Army or Goodwill. Also, I believe that fire stations take stuffed animal donations because if a fire ever happens, they like to give them to the children.

If there is a GoodWell around you should give it to them or a thrift store that donates to homeless shelters.

Try your local police department, they give them out to kids when they go out on calls, to comfort the children.

The Salavation Army, or Goodwill would probably be good. Also, you could check and see if there is a shelter for women and their children in the area. These families often leave their homes with the clothes on their backs and nothing else. The toys woulb be nice for the kids to play with.

try going to the childrens hospital/shealther. They are always in need of toys for kids. Also try toys for tots, godwill, and salvation army.

You can donate anything usable to VFW, Fraternal Order of Eagles, American Legion or you can give them to the Ronald McDonald House for the children that have terminal cancer. Any of these places would truly appreciate it as the first three that I mentioned donated them to their charities. Mostly under privileged children.

    Many places.Police stations.
    Fire stations. Churches. The
best places would be one that
    deals with tragedy. :)
