Being the largest most populous city in Sweden, Stockholm metropolitan area includes over 2 million people. It is the capital city of Sweden. The Monarchy, the Prime Minister and the government all make Stockholm their official residence.
Stockholm is home to abundant clean fresh water and numerous parks. It is the media center of Sweden. The politics and economy of Sweden run from Stockholm.
Stockholm is actually spread out on 14 islands on the southeast side of Sweden. It is home to some very old buildings and some amazing architecture. Stockholm was founded as a city in 1250.
It is also known as the Venice of the north.
