Dangerous Strollers recalled

February 27, 2010 - 2:38 pm

There was a recall of Graco strollers that had a hinge that could cause serious personal injuries to your little one. There were reported cases for fingers being pinched, cut and even severed.

These recalled strollers were sold at several large stores including Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears and Target from October 2004 to December 2009 for between $80 and $200. If you own or have one of these strollers, please stop using them right away and contact Graco to receive free hinge covers. Do not use the strollers without the protective hinge covers. In November, British stroller manufacturer Maclaren recalled 1 million strollers in the United States due to a hinge issue similar to that of the latest Graco recall. Maclaren strollers had injured 15 toddlers, 12 of them severely.
