You never know where beer pong will take ya
Generally, a team of beer pong is just 2 people, and sometimes only one. It really doesn’t matter much how you want to play, it just depends on how many people you have around you, and if people are comfortable teaming up or not. And make sure you get some great beer pong tables!
One bizarre thing about beer pong is that no one really knows the “true” rules. Some people will tell you that they know the “official” tournament rules. Which is cool. But if you’re going to a party, you should ask the host what type of rules they play by, because I almost can promise you they won’t be using the tournament rules.
The nice thing about beer pong is the ease of set up. Basically, you only need a beer pong table, which you can build yourself, or you can buy (my personal preference is the foldable beer pong tables so they can fit in your closet when you’re done.) But other than the table, you just need keg cups, a few ping pong balls, and some beer.
Because beer pong has skyrocketed in the recent years, people have literally created tournaments where you can play beer pong professionally. And if you’re serious about the game, it could be a profitable endeavor for you to undertake.
Even if you don’t drink beer, or alcohol, you can still participate in beer pong, you just basically need to substitute the contents of the cups with whatever you want the drink to be. It could be water, soda, or juice. Heck, you could put some coffee in there and get crazy wired!
